Prof. Sameer Shadeed is a Full Professor of Water Resources in the Civil and Architectural Engineering Department at An-Najah National University in Nablus, Palestine. Since 2008, he has been an active researcher and lecturer specializing in water resources modeling and management. Prof. Shadeed has led and participated in various research projects funded by international agencies, focusing on areas such as hydrological modeling, rainwater harvesting, climate change, water quality, agricultural best management practices, and climate-smart agriculture. Additionally, he has supervised numerous graduate students in water and environmental engineering, as well as environmental sciences. His teaching portfolio encompasses both graduate and undergraduate courses, with a focus on water quantity and quality, hydrological processes and systems, natural resource management, soil-water-plant interactions, irrigation and drainage, and geographic information systems (GIS). Furthermore, Prof. Shadeed has authored numerous articles published in highly reputable academic journals.
