Eman Hamada

Eman Hamada is a water governance researcher and PhD candidate at Helmut-Schmidt-Universität Hamburg (HSU), in collaboration with the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA). Her work examines transboundary water agreements and the role of transnational environmental advocacy networks. She holds an MSc in Water Management and Governance from IHE Delft and a BEng in Civil Engineering from Al-Balqa’ Applied University, Jordan. Previously, as a researcher under the Blue Peace Middle East Initiative at the Water Diplomacy Center (WDC), she worked on transboundary water issues across Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Türkiye.
