Matthias Gassmann

Matthias Gassmann is a professor of Hydrology and Substance Balance at the University of Kassel, Germany, since 2018. He mainly focuses his research on anthropogenic influences on the water balance, on nutrients fluxes and on organic pollutants in the environment. Since 2008, he worked in several semi-arid regions of the world such as the Mediterranean (including the Middle East), Southern India, and Uzbekistan.
